Wednesday, March 30 - Tuesday, April 5

In place of our largest fundraiser, the Spring Gala, the Brooks PTA will instead host The Brooks Read-a-thon this year.  Our goal is to encourage students to read while raising $20,000 to support our school.

The fundraiser will take place at William Brooks and truly anywhere that you can read a book! There will be daily themed spirit days, as well as events on campus to celebrate literacy and the joy of reading.  Children will collect pledges and read (or be read to) throughout the week in an effort to earn money for the William Brooks PTA.  ALL minutes read in and out of school COUNT!

Visit our fundraiser page to get started logging minutes and donating right now!

Schoolwide Fundraising Goal:  $20,000
*Just $50/student*

Please help us reach our goal!

THANK YOU for a successful read-a-thon! If you forgot to donate, it is not too late! Follow the link below to donate, but note that any donations made after April 6 will not count toward group or individual prizes.

Email Amy Theberge at with any questions.

Students voted on our themed spirit days for each week in which they will be encouraged to dress up.  Below are the spirit days they chose.  Reading takes us...

★   Friday, April 1...into the world of super heroes

      (Marcel/DC Superhero dress up day!)
★   Monday, April 4...into the world of video games and technology!

(Dress like a game character, programmer or player!)
★   Tuesday, April 5...into our own favorite books-anywhere we choose!

(Dress as any story character you choose!)
