We are excited to announce that the William Brooks PTA will be holding our Spring Gala again on April 12, 2024 at the Folsom Community Center!! 

 

The Spring Gala is our largest fundraiser of the year. It is a kid-free evening of drinks, dinner, silent and live auctions, raffle prizes, risk-free gambling, and dancing – all to benefit our school! Our Gala Committee is working hard planning this event, so stay tuned for more updates!

This year our goal is to raise money for a much-needed upgrade to our stage that our students can use for performing arts and other events throughout the year. Additionally, we aim to raise enough money for our programs that require annual backing, including STEAM Lab, student assemblies, garden and art programs, field trips, and more.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

 

BECOME A SPONSOR OR MAKE A DONATION

Much of this fundraiser’s success is credited to the involvement of our amazing parents, community and the businesses that have supported William Brooks Elementary. Do you own or work for a business that may consider sponsoring or donating items/services? Do you own a vacation home or timeshare and could donate free nights? Could you donate tickets to a local professional sports game? Are you crafty and can make and donate an item? Can you or a company you know donate beer or wine that we could sell at the event?  If so, we would be grateful for your help! Your contribution will truly have a positive impact on our school and will be greatly appreciated by the students, teachers, and fellow families at Brooks. 

If you would like to be a sponsor or make a donation for our 2024 Spring Gala, please fill out this donation form and bring it to the school office, along with your donation, by March 8th, 2024. See below for more information about the different sponsorship levels that are available.

HELP US COLLECT DONATIONS

Do you have some spare time to help us collect donations? At the Spring Gala we will have an auction for items and goods/services that have been donated by the local community. We need help reaching out to the community and soliciting donations. Can you ask for a donation to the school from your favorite restaurant, brewery, winery, beauty salon, entertainment venue, or gym? How about at your child’s dentist, sporting location, or tutoring location? Please email wbrookspta@gmail.com and let us know who you can reach out to, and we can provide you with a formal donation request letter to bring to the company!

HELP US PLAN THE EVENT

We need a lot of help to make the Spring Gala a big success. From finding vendors, gathering items, coordinating volunteers, working at the event check-in or check-out, to decor- we have a way you can help! Grab your friends; the more helpers we have, the easier it is to plan and hold this event!  For more information about the different roles, or how you can help, contact wbrookspta@gmail.com.

DONATE BOTTLES OF WINE or BEER

We will have a Wine Pull at the Gala, where guests can buy a random bottle of wine from our that may be priced significantly higher than what they paid.  Please donate a bottle or more of wine for this fun event! Bottles should be valued $20 or more and we are hoping for some high value bottles ($50-$100) as well. Contact Ryan Rudkin at rrrudkin@gmail.com for more details or to arrange a pick up.

Alternatively, let us know if you (or your friendly brewer) would like to donate beer that we could sell at our event! Every donation helps!

Diamond (Exclusive Gaming Tables Sponsor): $2500

  • Company logo on every gaming table 

  • Full-page ad in program 

  • Recognition and logo on event website, PTA website, and social media

  • Name and logo on the school marquee for one week

  • MC recognition during the event 

  • Logo on screen during the event 

  • Four complimentary tickets to the event 

 

Platinum: $1000

Choose one of the following:

  • Auction Paddles (company logo on every auction paddle)  + additional $500

  • Wine Pull (“Sponsored by” sign displayed, logo tags on every bottle of wine)

  • Dessert Dash (“Sponsored by” sign displayed, logo on every dessert donation envelope) 

  • Program (full-page ad on the inside cover of the program) 

  • Photo booth (“Sponsored by” sign displayed on photo booth)

Bronze: $100

  • Company logo on the event and PTA websites

**All donations will be recognized in the event program with the name of the donating person or business.
